Due to an increase in the need for a more functional and comfortable prosthesis, Van Nes Rotationplasty patients seen at the Hugh MacMillan Rehabilitation Centre Amputee Clinic have been fitted with a variety of high energy feet in conjunction with unique modifications to the foot socket. Various types of thermofoam material and unique socket designs have allowed these children a more active lifestyle.
