Function in Children with Van Nes Rotationplasty (Video Presentation)

Van Nes rotationplasty remains a somewhat controversial procedure for treatment both of congenital abnormalities, such as PFFD, and malignant sarcomas of the lower extremities. This procedure has obvious theoretical mechanical advantages.

In this presentation we would like to demonstrate functional results, including sports participation, in several children who have undergone this procedure.
