2018 MEETING OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this annual meeting are to present and evaluate new ideas, techniques and methodology and treatment of children with limb deficiencies, and to provide the participants with an opportunity to clinically evaluate and directly interact with proponents of new research knowledge pertinent to the management of these children. Participants will hear and view presentations in a variety of formats including scientific paper presentations, posters, symposia, and special presentations. There will be an opportunity for speakers to present challenging cases and creative solutions. A technical and scientific workshop format is used to present new approaches and ideas to difficult or unsolved problems.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Physicians, orthotists, prosthetists, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation engineers, physical and occupational therapists, and other health professionals who care for children with orthopaedic and related disabilities will benefit.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
CME credits to be applied through AAOS. CEUs to be applied for through ABC. MCEs to be applied for through OPC. The numbers of hours/credits have not yet been determined.
Wednesday, April 11, 11:30 AM start. ARRIVE EARLY. Separate registration is required.
Exhibiting companies will be given the opportunity to conduct 45-minute Technical Workshops. These Workshops are scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, from 11:30 AM to 6:15 PM. Plan on flying or driving in early to attend. All Workshops and Demonstrations are free to the registered participant. Attendees will receive CEU or MCE credits for attending. NOTE: Although there is no extra charge to attend any of the Technical Workshops, please be sure to sign up for them on the registration form so that we can record your attendance. Limited seating is available.
PHYSICIAN GUIDED CASE STUDY FORUM
This will be a moderated, but informal session, open to all disciplines. Anyone can bring in a case for discussion with their peers. If you’d like to present to the group, please email the title and brief description of the case to the ACPOC office at prior to the meeting. Due to HIPAA, please do not bring patient(s) or patient’s family with you to this session.

The 2018 ACPOC Annual Meeting will take place at the JW Marriott Hotel, 235 Louis St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI, from April 11-14. The JW Marriott Hotel, located in downtown Grand Rapids, is considered a world class hotel for business and pleasure. With 337 rooms on 23 floors, the JW features an indoor pool, fitness and business centers and a spa. Within a 10-minute walk of the JW are 100+ restaurants and 50 retail stores, five museums, seven theatres and concert stages, and five breweries. The popular Gerald R. Ford Museum is only 0.2 miles from the JW.

AIRPORT AND TRANSPORTATION
The Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) is a 15-20-minute drive from downtown Grand Rapids. The JW Marriott does not offer a shuttle. However, cabs are typically readily available and can be reserved 20 minutes or less prior to departure time. Cabs can be found outside the airport and are aware of incoming flights.

Valet and self-parking are available to overnight guests at $29 per night for self-parking and $34 per night for valet parking. Both include in and out access. Hourly rates will be $6 per hour and freeze at $24 up to 8 hours.
Average temperatures in Grand Rapids in April reach a high of 58°F and a low of 38°F.
